“In February of 2020 our furnace went out. We decided to add AC as well. We received bids from multiple companies and chose Day. We have several friends who have used them and had good things to say about their customer service. This summer, during the record setting heatwave, our AC unit was having some problems. Casey came out and inspected our unit, ran diagnostics, and made it serviceable until the new part could be ordered and a follow up appointment could be scheduled. I got a call from the person who schedules and I let her know I was disappointed that I would have to pay for labor on a brand new system. She remained professional and let me know she would pass on my concern. I told my wife that meant I would have to give a follow up phone call as the scheduler was super busy. However, the next day Luke called to talk through the issue. They were going to do the work at no charge to me even though I was out of the warranty window for labor.
A couple days before my appointment I got another call from Luke. He shared that, after reviewing our account, he thought our unit was undersized for our house. They would be replacing it with the next size up. I was very impressed. They could have simply fixed the part and been done with it, but they put their customer first. After the work was done I received a follow up phone call from Luke checking to make sure everything was working well. We have noticed a big difference in the comfort of our home since the work was completed.
