Going Duc(k)tless

It’s been a while since I crawled to the keyboard, so now that the turkey hangover has worn off, it’s time for “more Chuck”.

Ductless. It’s what the Beavers would like to be (I guess that would actually be Duckless), but that’s not what I’m referring to. It’s the new buzz-word in the heating and cooling industry. If you peruse that section of our website, you’ll find tons of information about what it is and how it works. It’s an excellent solution in a lot of situations – but it’s not the answer to every situation. I’ve found that sometimes members of our industry get a new “pet rock”, and all of a sudden it’s the only answer they can come up with to any question. Day Heating looks at each project without the bias of a drive to sell the customer a particular product. Sometimes a ductless is what’s recommended because it’s the best solution, but on occasion the best answer for the customer and the project might be a Cadet wall heater (and we’ll recommend it even though we don’t sell them).
